Several years ago, I received a call from someone I did not know. His name was/is Mark Slafkofsky. He was in my local area and had listened to the podcast and wanted to discuss a new tool that he and his late partner developed, the Nestorbar. If you see that picture at the top, you will know if you've seen this tool. It is nothing like the fire service has seen since the development of the Halligan Bar.

Mark wanted to do a podcast and said that he would even drive to my home to show them to me and then, after I had seen what it could do, we could record a podcast, if I was interested. Well, all it took was one look and I drifted backwards in time. With that, I counted off nearly a dozen incidents I had been on in my limited eight-year time as a volunteer firefighter, where I knew, without a doubt, how I could have used a Nestorbar on those calls!

So, on this page, we will post some of Mark's videos and photos of how this new tool will be an excellent adjunct to your Halligan and pry-bar. Just look and see!
